Is anyone creating a world or setting that is unique and not of "earth"? I'm going over my character and while I have a basic premise, the structure of the world around her isn't yet completed. I was hoping to use this prep to help me build the world, or at least the parts I'll need to use right away.

Any thoughts of making it up as you go, or would a bit more structure be a good thing to do in the edit phase once Nano is complete?
