Last November, my ex worked in this cute little coffee shop down the road from my house. I would go there on days he worked, sit at one of the the back table, put in my headphones with some nice white noise, and write until I hit my word count goal. My ex would come over on breaks and sit with me and see how I was getting along. It was pretty nice, because I procrastinated way less when I was writing out of the house.
This year I have a baby and he's only six weeks old right now, so it's hard enough getting the chance to write at home, let alone getting out of the house for any amounts of time! I'd really like to do some writing at the old city cemetery though, since it's also a historic rose garden and one of the prettiest places in town, and very few people go there so it's very quiet and peaceful.
