My kids are in school.... at least part time. My daughter is now in first grade and my son is in preschool (tuesdays and thursdays, 9-12 and daycare all day fridays).

It's hard to adjust to being able to go out and work somewhere else. Right now my favorite place to work is in the museum where my son goes to preschool. I can camp out at a table and do my thing.

But when my kids were smaller, I'd camp out at the Y - I got free child care, they got to play with kids, and I could get some quiet to work. Downside is I know so many people there and they always want to say hello. But I don't mind that either.
