Get it down. Take chances. It may be bad, but it’s the only way you can do anything really good. – William Faulkner Even our minor characters need a back story, aye? In the hundreds of books I've read and the hundreds of movies I've watched, it seems the minor character isn't always so minor. Look at Samwise from Lord of the Rings. He wasn't the protagonist but his role kept Frodo on the straight and narrow. My point is to truly consider developing Minor Characters that without them, the story couldn't progress the way we want it. Know what I mean? It's like that thriller where the witness comes in at the last minute with pertinent information to catch the bad guy. Minor Characters are important. So let's think about how they fit in to our stories. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** . |
