Totally random, but those happen to be my two supplemental languages. German and Italian are the operatic languages (along with Latin and French). Also, I lived in Germany and have Italian heritage. Have you played with Duolingo? It uses the microphone in your device to test your pronunciations. With your fluency in Latin, I think Italian will come very easily to you. German is another story. I've been refreshing my German and Italian. Start doing the lessons and we can practice on each other. Cheers, Michelle |
