Here we are, folks... Day 10 and one-third of the way through NaNoWriMo! The good news is that we still have 20 days left in November, which means anything can happen. The following is just a quick snapshot to let you know where we stand as of today. If you're at the front of the pack, keep it going because leads have been known to disappear later in the month. And if you're behind at the moment, there's still plenty of time to kick it into gear and change the fate of your team! But those are just hypotheticals. As of today, the realities are as follows: 1st Place: The Black Team with 196,044 words! The Black Team is killing it this year. Not only has half their team already crossed the finish line, but those two writers are also in the Top 3 word counts across all of Writing.Com!  2nd Place: The Blue Team with 124,344 words! Right on the heels of the first place Black Team (well, as close as you can get to the heels of a team with two writers about to hit 70K words each  ) is the Blue Team! Steady output is this team's motto; no one's finished NaNo yet, but they also don't have a single team member with fewer than 12,000 words.3rd Place: The Green Team with 123,179 words! And literally on the heels of second place is the Green Team. Seriously, they're less than 1,200 words behind and still going strong. Here's how the rest of the field sorts out: 4th Place: The Purple Team with 106,108 words 5th Place: The Yellow Team with 106,108 words 6th Place: The Brown Team with 99,993 words 7th Place: The Orange Team with 94,034 words 8th Place: The White Team with 80,161 words 9th Place: The Red Team with 62,662 words 10th Place: The Pink Team with 60,460 words 11th Place: The Silver Team with 48,381 words 12th Place: The Gold Team with 20,192 words And here are some other assorted stats for your reference and enjoyment:  3 NaNo Winners so far 964,362 total words written The activity's total word count is better than the word count of everyone in each of the official NaNoWriMo regions of Corpus Christi (Texas), Daytona Beach (Florida), Romania, and Greece!Keep up the good work everyone!
