Sorry for not getting this out sooner; I was out of town for a friend's wedding all weekend and am just getting caught up now. Hey, we're almost to the finish line! Just under a week left for NaNoWriMo 2015! The following is just a quick snapshot to let you know where we stand as of today. There's still plenty of time for teams to kick it up a notch and change the finishing position of your team! Here's where everyone currently stands: 1st Place: The Black Team with 406,924 words! (±0) 2nd Place: The Brown Team with 238,264 words (+4) 3rd Place: The Green Team with 224,775 words! (±0) Here's how the rest of the field sorts out: 4th Place: The Blue Team with 216,409 words! (-2) 5th Place: The Purple Team with 216,374 words (-1) 6th Place: The Yellow Team with 175,578 words (-1) 7th Place: The Orange Team with 174,292 words (±0) 8th Place: The White Team with 167,735 words (±0) 9th Place: The Red Team with 136,027 words (±0) 10th Place: The Pink Team with 122,924 words (±0) 11th Place: The Silver Team with 80,255 words (±0) 12th Place: The Gold Team with 59,090 words (±0) Interestingly, The Black Team, Green Team and the entire bottom half of the race didn't change positions at all over the past two weeks! The Brown Team made the biggest gain by jumping from 6th Place to 2nd, and the Purple Team and Blue Team are only 35 words apart from one another and only about 8,400 words out of contention for a bronze medal finish! It's going to be a close call on the 30th! And here are some other assorted stats for your reference and enjoyment:  15 NaNo Winners so far 1,930,110 total words written The activity's total word count is better than the word count of everyone in each of the official NaNoWriMo regions of Rockford, Illinois (USA), Winston-Salem, North Carolina (USA), and all of Egypt!Keep up the good work everyone!
