Having trouble finding conflict for characters

Ya know, romance can be such a pain. So far I've found a way to get the characters together, but I cannot find the antagonist yet or the reasons for conflict. So far, I've managed to get some basic, minor conflicts which will be introduced along the way, but nothing major. Any ideas or suggestions?
