Backstory for her is she is a reporter who was kidnapped by a Silence of the Lambs Buffalo Bill wannabe. Held for 3 months until she was rescued. has PSTD and left NY to get away from the familiar. and runs right into something very familiar. A B&B with a portrait of her Grandmother....
Begins to research why the two never knew each other.
There is an adopted son of what is her distant cuz but he distrusts her because she isn't telling anyone why she's asking all these questions...

Thoughts? to far fetched. just a cozy mystery
