Re: Romance in a story
Sarah Rae I know that you are looking for other voices to weigh in so I'm going to add my voice to the mix. I think that this sounds like a breath of fresh air compared to the love triangle I keep reading in YA Novels that make me want to pull my hair out. There's clearly one guy she should be with, and then the other one is like a ham sandwich she keeps looking at.

I say go forward with that I've read a lot of YA books over the years. And not doing the love triangle is like, yes! They will still have obstacles and that isn't paramount for progressing a story with adding a third love interest into a book. If those two are going to profess their love sooner, I say that works and then they can focus on whatever big baddies are out there for them to conquer.
