I'd have to agree with everyone here. I'm 47 and I prefer the vast majority of my fantasy and sci-fi without steamy romance scenes in them. I'm an action/adventure, fantasy kind of person. And I know there's a lot of books out there which adults like me read which contain scenes, such as hard battle scenes not suited for kids, in fantasy and sci-fi for the more adult reader. Wow, I hope that wasn't confusing. Also, romantic scenes don't have to be played out to their fullest. They can be implied, let the reader do the imagining with that regard.
