While talking to one of my young coworkers, she revealed she take anti depressants/anxiety meds. She was so sweet to give me great advice about how a person FEELS when having a panic/anxiety attack. How I could use her reactions for my MC. she was detailed and answered all my questions honestly.
This makes my character more real. Her feelings and how she will react because she won't take her meds. How Josh finally (3rd qtr of bk) talks her into going to the group meetings. How after one visit she refuses, then has an attack where one of the guys from the group sees her and helps her. She finally agrees to go AND participate. She has feelings for Josh and doesn't want him to see her as weak and needy. He feels quite the opposite and has to make her believe him.
she's on her meds when the last climax happens.....
Just want you all to know this has been so helpful. I was feeling a bit like this book wasn't going anywhere but about a girl looking for the truth about her grandmother and this identical woman. Now I have a STORY!!
