I don't know if I should Smile or Cry

I was just taking a quick look through here, when I noticed a few posts.

They basically go "I remember So-and-So. They helped me out with that-huge-problem-I-needed-help-with and helped me through it. They made me laugh-cry-whatever-emotion."

Thing is, I noticed the cases that some of the people had....... White.

Makes one wonder.
