Thanks for the help. Each scene in Scrivener is represented by a little page icon that can be renamed (by double clicking on it). All the pages show up in a binder on the left, so I can see all the chapter folders and scenes. The area for writing takes up the rest of the space on the right. Renaming the pages (I put the date in with the page title) can be done but it isn't fun. :)
