Do you see your word count in the left column of the screen? If so, you should also be able to manually reset it. Just update your word count from 57,867 to 1. Or, as Shaye mentioned, just wait for SM to clear the decks in advance of this year's activity. As long as your word counter is appearing in the left column for easy updating in November, that's the important thing.
