Just sharing: For those of us whose antagonists are not people or anything tangible but the antagonist is a situation or a force of nature, "to have at least one or even two humans who remind the readers of an antagonist is sound dramatic vision" says one of the books I consulted because my antagonist is my protagonist's mistaken belief about someone. Also, Checkov's guns will surface as we write. When we spot such a gun, it is a good idea to note it someplace to use it later or to get rid of it during the revision process. Even though I finished prep, I am still prepping!
