The post to which you're referring is pinned, meaning that it'll always be on top of the post list (well... unless another post is pinned, anyway. Maybe.) So while it was referring to last year's contests, unless something changes with the way we do things, it will also be valid for this year's contests.

The link *in* the post will need to be changed to reflect 2018 dates and contest rounds, but those will not be needed for another few weeks. No contests begin until October.
