We're into the home stretch of NaNoWriMo, so let's take a quick look at how the competition is turning out! 1st Place: the Silver Team with 248,484 words 2nd Place: the Black Team with 240,735 words 3rd Place: the Red Team with 238,914 words BASELINE: 208,375 words 4th Place: the Yellow Team with 199,746 words 5th Place: the Gold Team with 181,074 words 6th Place: the White Team with 163,165 words 7th Place: the Blue Team with 156,107 words 8th Place: the Purple Team with 154,011 words 9th Place: the Pink Team with 144,633 words 10th Place: the Brown Team with 141,072 words 11th Place: the Green Team with 80,844 words 12th Place: the Orange Team with 48,448 words The Silver Team is still going strong at the top of the leader board, but the other podium finishers are hot on their tails. Fewer than 10,000 words separate the top three teams, which means we're shaping up for a photo finish! There are just over four days left in the competition, so make sure you get those last few writing sprints finished and submit your final word counts using the WDC NanoCounter before the end of the month!
