Octavia does have her own cross-purposes, which works for the character study as both protagonist and antagonist.

However, you have secondary influences. As Danicea originally thought she was cursed by Erecura, a suggestion might take a long time to get punished. Erecura is a favorite for malice and getting around rules, but neither of them are ever going to help Octavia to stardom, especially if she won't believe in them. As for Greg, he's not very nice and deserves to go down in a regular random car accident - right after he pays Octavia what he owes her.
