Looking forward to Sunday.
Octo-Prep is over for me! Finished but what a pain. I like the questions that are asked but the 'outline', 'now go back to your outline and...' is for Outliners. I'm a Pantser and since I'm not a genre writer as in 'crying girl meets lonesome cowboy but... but... now they are happily married ever after' the concept of a simple pulp-fiction does not entice me nor does an adventure story stretched out to 250,000+++ words and 3+++ movies. My goal is 30,000 wihich may be only 100 pages but novels in the early 1900s were often that length instead of 1,000 a la Wheel of Time and Game of Thrones, so... I don't know how much is already written, maybe 10k.

I'm cheering for everyone but advise you to plan on writing 2,000 per day to make up for lost days (they happen). I'll be happy if I do 1,000.

I would love to know whether anyone else is planning on 30k. Shorter can be better!
