Ideas:
- Poisonous snake in the garden
- Patch of ice on the sidewalk
- Chain-hung shop sign breaks and falls at his feet as he walks past
- Someone in a hoodie follows him wherever he goes
- someone breaks into his keys from place to place
- someone messes with the power so that the lights flicker on and off and he thinks he has a ghost
- an ax is precariously perched in a high place overhanging the garden and falls at his feet
- a loaded shotgun is snagged on a rose bush so that the trigger is accidentally pulled
- I repeat the escaped tiger idea but let's make it something more reasonable like a chimpanzee that tries to rip his face off
- while he's walking to the store, a car swerves to avoid an accident and almost runs him down
- a window air conditioner unit falls out of an apartment above as he walks down the sidewalk and it lands at his feet

I'm tapped for now because I have an appointment but if I think of moral post again.
