Hi, Remember back when we first began I asked a question taken from K. M. Weiland's " Outlining You Novel Workbook?" What is the protagonist's personal condition at the beginning? I emailed her and asked what did she mean by that question. I just received her response. Following is her reply: K.M. Weiland 12:16 PM (3 hours ago) to me Kristine, Thanks for your note! The question about your character's situation is specifically referring to the character's Normal World at the beginning of the story before he engages with the main conflict. This can include aspects or reasons of why the character will choose to engage with that conflict or go after his goal. One of those reasons might be his personal condition. All the best! -Katie I thought I would pass it along. Kristina |
