Generally, when you are creating a thread in a forum, that thread will link to the bank for that item or the owner. You can tell where the GPs are going right next to the box where you include them. The tricky part can be when there's multiple people on a thread and you want to send GPs to one of them. Be sure to check to see who they are going to. If they aren't going to the right person, just find one of their comments and hit Reply to reply directly to them and they will get the GPs.
