Thank you for the link! I read that story once before, long ago, and had forgotten what it was called. The twist is brilliant, but so's the general writing. I especially like what he doesn't spell out, for us. I think that Dahl is at his best in these short stories, even though his children's book are more famous. ![]() ![]() |
