First off, let me explain just how "closeted" I've been. I can honestly say that I've not been to concert in my life. I know, right? Fun fact: My mom just went to her first concert at the age of 79 this past May But if I had a "wishlist" of songs to see live one day, it would be from the group VoicePlay. I was introduced to them by my son when I first moved to Texas in 2022. They are a YouTube sensation, based out of Orlando, FL, for doing cover songs of all genres. The original guys started out singing in high school, and though they've been through a few different singers over the years, they are a very funny and amazing group. They've earned the nickname of Theater Kids of Acapella. Hopefully, this is allowed, and that I can follow the rest of the rules of the prompts. They started out as a group called 4-2-5 when they were in high school. They also have been on the singing show "Sing-Off" back in 2013. https://www.freep.com/story/entertainment/music/2015/03/11/voiceplay-tour-royal-... The group at the time of this writing 2023 includes the following singers/performers: Geoff Castellucci - bass Layne Stein - baritone/percussionist Eli Jacobson - rock tenor Cesar De La Rosa - tenor They have collaborated with several people for their songs. These are the songs I have chosen for this challenge: For Sept 1 - Road Trip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnQ7gfJSoJQ I would love to see them perform somewhere close, so probably the closest venue would be the Dallas-Ft Worth area , or maybe since they've done cruise performances, I would gladly take a cruise just to see them! This is a phone recorded "live" performance. The guys crack me up, and I can believe that they are "theater" kids. The transitions they make between the "car radio" are wonderful A memory from WDC - I don't have a lot, since I've only been here a year. But this is my second WdC Anniversary. I remember when I introduced my first game here :
It took me a little bit, but I finally figured the ins and outs to get it up an running, and I've just learned how to "hide" things in my writing, by using the dropnote or the "hide" writing ML. For Sept 2 - The Chicken Song For Sept 3 - Grim Grinning Ghosts For Sept 4 - This Is Halloween For Sept 5 - Critical Role For Sept 6 - Drunken Sailor For Sept 7 - Golden Hour For Sept 8 - Little Mermaid Medley For Sept 9 - Wicked Medley For Sept 10 - Disney Heroes |
