In my horror writing class I get the participants to plot out their story, and as a teacher, I always had people plot out their work. I know pantsing is not for everyone, and even fewer of us get published (it does work for me), so I have no issue with plotting. One other thing is I rely on public wifi and this is not necessarily available. I could be sporadic, depending on the connection, and Sundays can be really awkward. That's Sunday for me, which is Saturday for you. Character profiling is something I do do in my fantasy (see "How D&D Can Help Fantasy Writing" for explanation of how I do it); that is not an issue. World-building is also something I find vital in fantasy; as for other settings, I use real world situations, and so world-building is done for me by reality. The feedback I have received from my reviews on this site has been... shall we say, negative. The feedback from my horror writing classes has been good thus far, but I tend to get in-depth and teacher-y, and it is what people want if they do those lessons. I have little patience with people who just want affirmation. I guess my main concern with this comes from the negative interactions I have had with people on WdC in the past. As I said, I am arrogant, abrasive and direct. That can be an issue. So, I am still debating whether I can do this. Sorry. |
