I hope all goes well, and it should. It is good to remember: relax and enjoy the process. Take notes throughout the day because you can use them for the prep challenge or for another project. Don't worry about details, your characters, the plot, and other unseen or unknown entities will fill in these things. I was surprised when this happened to me, but I found that eventually. the characters and the story write stuff for me when I allow the freedom, and I stay out of the way and as a bonus, enjoy the adventure.

Allow the editor a month-long vacation, then when NaNo is in session, send the editor far away on a marvelous vacation.
