I think it's a good thing when they take over...mostly because I've never had it happen. Lol But I assume that means you're really in a flow (floe? On my phoneand too lazy to google lol) and connected to your characters and story.

I'm also glad I'm not the only one without all (or currently any) of my characters named. Lol
