When designing the world my novel takes place in things evolved. There's a whole history that happens before the novel.(it spans from 2098 to the first three quarters of 2120)

The timeline for the novel on the other hand is much less epic. It's crunched down into a matter of weeks.(Except for Bother's timeline which may or may not appear in the novel.)
Writing science fiction is far more involved than I thought. I hope this all works.
