I think you've hit on the truth QueenNormaJean marching on!. McD is totally using propaganda and people's lack of desire to do research against them. To recruit the young and naïve to the fast food industry.

One of my older nieces has worked in the restaurant business since she graduated from High school. She had wanted to be an artist at one point. Now she's been job hopping from restaurant to restaurant and never gets the promotion or hours her bosses have promised.

It kinda makes me sick that there are spin doctors attempting suck our youth into these jobs with false promises!(Disclaimer: I'm just an opinionated woman not a socialist or economic expert.)
