Re: That bit in the middle
At this point, some tips I would have would be to find out how to complicate things for your story. What's something that could stand in your character's way.
Additionally, two common points in the middle would be the midpoint (where characters often start going directly toward the conflict) and the and the breaking point. If you haven't, I would consider these.
