Here are some tips for writing settings that you might find useful "5 tips for writing setting as a character" Of course, this is just a list, so you don't have to go into massive amounts of detail if you don't want to. Still helpful to think about things like season, I think. When is your story placed in the year, because that could greatly influence your settings list! Also think about the Important Plot-Integral Settings vs. the Background Settings that are still just as important, if nothing else to fill out the backdrop and make your story more realistic!
