I've never used a ledger pad for timelines. Where did you get the idea? I'm looking at it now and thinking it might be super useful, like maybe scenes go in the first really big column, then dates or days or times might go across the top, and you could draw a line across the dates/days/times that the scene is taking place, sort of like a Gantt chart (like MS project.) You could easily see where scenes overlap. But that's just a first impression. I have zero experience using this tool for chronology and I'm very interested in where you heard about it. |
