Combining Romantica and See it Sultry is a good idea. It will allow a class participant to choose whether to take the short course and write a shorter story or do both for the longer attempt. I think you could easily combine more classes, and hopefully that will encourage more interest in the classes. I think Jim Hall  's class might garner some interest in members. The Paranormal genre is pretty popular so I think that should definitely be pursued. As for me taking future classes? I'm seriously considering letting my WDC membership lapse. I've been here for 14 years. I've recently had an experience here that bothers the hell out of me, and I don't know if I want to continue here. I will, of course, finish what I've started in the HSP classes. I think the HSP classes are a great concept and offer a lot to anyone interested in the genre, which makes me wonder why there isn't more participation from members. |
