Oh, am I at a crossroad. When I first started I was torn between making my MC a Newspaper Journalist/abused wife and a Police Detective. I decided on the detective, or so I thought. That is why I've redone her profile so many times. My prob is this, the bulk of the story deals with the theft of a 41-carat diamond that was never recovered. (it is based on the real theft of the Dresden White Diamond on 11/25/2019 and never recovered).

As a detective I had her called in and investigating a cold case of previous murders and the rumors of the diamond resurfacing.

As an abused wife she is hiding from the crooked law enforcement for the murder of her husband, so she thinks, (but he is not dead). I just am not sure how to get her caught up in the murders and the diamond, and her old man showing up wanting the diamond along with his sister, the PI that found her ---that's my prob.


Ok, I sounded off - --- it just keeps nagging me.
