Lisa Hinkley is a top, outspoken newspaper journalist with a passion for crime investigations. She is well-respected and liked But something is off, she suffers daily physical and mental abuse from the Deputy Sheriff, her husband. Despite her love for him and the belief that he will change, she snaps and stabs him, leaving him for dead.
Opportunity:
With the help of her friends, Lisa changes her looks, assumes the identity of a dead Police Detective, Kelly Bass, and flees to San Francisco.
