I'm jealous that you've found 1 story structure that seems to work for you, Roseille ♥. lol One of my issues is that I find each story I write has a different structure that works well with it, so I can't ever just pull out the trusty structure I always use and begin. I have to think specifically about my story, then start reviewing the structure. If I hit too many points where either they don't align or I can't figure out how that works with my story, I move on. It can take me a good 30-60 minutes just to find the right structure for a single story (novel, not short story -- I never officially structure those lol). Though part of why that takes so long is because I'm not familiar enough with them. I've not got each memorized so I can just review them in my head as I go through my story's proposed plot. I have to actually find the structure written and go point by point with my own plan for my story. It's quite time consuming. But then, I'm not the pro you are. Not to mention, if I gravitated toward only 1 structure, it would be a lot easier to remember. Hahaha! Anyway, good job and good luck this month!   |
