Sounds like you are making great progress. I also like the tarot card idea. I have a few decks but have never used them for story writing. It can be difficult to start with nothing but that doesn't mean it can't go well. One year I did all of the prep for a novel, then right before midnight at the start of November, I changed my mind. I ended up picking a completely different novel to write with no prep done and made it 50K+ that year. So, you never know what you can do until you try doing it. Knowing is helpful but sometimes it's good to just go in and get things done in the moment. Other times, it's good to know more in advance. Not every project will be the same in how things develop, or at least, that has been my experience. |
