Chapter #9

TakeOff

    by: Ram Effect
The plane's engines whined as they revved up to static RPM for the takeoff run.
"Runway 4 flight 209. A teardrop falls we start to climb. This window seat proved a poor choice. It show a dream that's been destroyed."
This fool refrain kept echoing through Kanya's mind as she sat in her aisle seat. She was sure that song was on her Ipod somewhere, but for the moment, she couldn't recall where. Perhaps it reminded her of Jason's absence from the window seat in her row 22. It would give her nobody to talk to on this flight. Save for the Ipod this would be one boring flight. Until she arrived in Bermuda, things could get dicey anytime.
"The whole damn world looks distant now, " thought Kanya, "not that I can see anything from the aisle seat. I'll just have to wait until the seatbelt lights go off. Then I can see the clouds. "
"If I could get up and stretch my legs, " Kanya thought, "Then I could save myself from a fatal blood clot. The flight might not last that long, but I can already feel it in my leg. All I want to do is disappear in the Bermuda triangle, but I don't expect to make it that far. "
Well the flight was proving routine so far, but that could change at anytime.

You have the following choices:

1. the plane is hijacked in flight

2. the routine flight continues
