Central International Airport
This choice: Jessica, killer, finds her target.  •  Go Back...
Chapter #3

Target located

    by: Terry
She grabbed her cell phone from her purse, knowing that she had precious little time to make a phone call before the flight attendants came through to ensure all electronics were shut off. She fumbled a little while dialing, cursing at the stupidity of having a phone with such a little number pad. The phone didn't even ring before being answered.
"Hello, Jessica."
"Seat 15b," she said as inconspiciously as possible, then abruptly hung up and turned the phone off.
She regretted that the same man who had helped her happened to be the target of the day, but such was the way of the trade. She got herself settled in the seat, thankful to be near the window, and braced herself for the familiar commotion she knew was imminent.
The pre-flight checks proceeded as usual, without the slightest hint that something was amiss. Jessica buried herself in her book for take-off, always hating the feeling of detachment coming from lift off. Then, just as expected, she heard a small hissing noise.
She noticed a few passengers look around for the source, but at the moment nobody seemed too concerned. They wouldn't for a few minutes. She, knowing it was coming, was the first to notice the smoke seeping out of the mans bag. The plan was the man would be an assumed terrorist, the plane would be grounded, the man would be apprehended, and members of her organization disguised as cops would deal with him. It seemed a lengthy process for a simple killing, but it was foolproof. Or so she thought. It took her a while to realize that the smoke was coming out of the wrong bag. A bag belonging not to a man, but to a little girl.
Her heart stopped. She had no problem killing people, but when it came to youth she had a very human weakness. She bit her lip as she decided what to do

You have the following choices:

1. Attempt to hide the bag

2. Do nothing
