Central International Airport This choice: "Help, help, hostess, this man is bothering me." • Go Back...Chapter #4Archie Strikes Back by: Unknown Jessie shifted uncomfortably in her seat and suddenly, with a burst of relief, caught the eye of a pretty flight attendant.
"Hello," she said desperately as Archie began to talk about his childhood, "Hostess!"
The hostess clicked over toward them with her gleaming tray of food in front of her.
"Yes, Miss?"
Before Jessie had time to speak, Archie coughed loudly to catch the hostess's attention. Giving Jessie a disdainful look - and knowing he had been snubbed - he turned to the young attendant to speak.
"This woman has just informed me of the explosives in her bag."
The hostess narrowed her eyes and lifted Jessie from her seat by the wrist, removing all luggage and making a quick announcement:
"Could all passengers in row C please reclaim their hand luggage from the overhead racks. Thank you. There is a threat of explosives on board."
A scared hush darted around the plane, all beady eyes turning to Jessie, who stuttered to explain that it was all a misunderstanding.
But then -   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
