This choice: Justin Avery attempts to relinquish his shyness  •  Go Back...
Chapter #4

Hello, I love you, wont you tell me your name?

Justin sighed. "I'm... I'm sorry. I just thought you were, y'know, cute. I've never been good with women..."

Jessica gave him an understanding smile. "It's alright. I'm not really an outgoing gal either. Spend most of the time in my own world. I'm Jessica, by the way."

"Justin."

Jessica wanted to like this guy, but something about him made her uneasy. The way he hunched over, an awkward smile plastered onto his face - as if he were afraid to let anything other than complacence show on his face. His eyes kept dancing over her body, and the space around it, never meeting her own. She almost pitied him.

Justin gave a tense laugh.
"So... where ya from? U-Um, not to pry, or anything. I just, y'know-"

Jessica smiled. "It's okay. I'm from Ireland."

"Dublin?"

"Hah, watch it! I'm from Limerick, mind you. You sound American though."

"Yeah," he responded.

An awkward silence followed.

"What part of the States?"

"Florida."

"Comin' to Paris on holidays?"

"Yep."

"No parents?"

Justin looked down to the floor, a pained expression playing across his face. Jessica appeared sympathetic.
Time to bring out the big guns... he thought.

You have the following choices:

1. Tell the truth, and hope it doesn't freak her out

2. Invent a story about Justin's past for sympathy
