Central International Airport Chapter #6chance encounter by: mariesha "Yep" Jason replied "some new hip place down by Eagle's Beach. My sister is getting married this weekend, one of those destination wedding whatevers"
Kanya smiled to herself, ever the romantic, she was obsessed with weddings. She found herself entranced by the myriad of reality wedding shows on TV these days.
"Ohh, how beautiful" she exclaimed, "I just LOVE weddings". Her mind drifted back to Raul and the beginning days of their relationship. Back before stolen kisses and longing glances were replaced with bruises and beatings. For so long, Kanya thought he'd been the "one" for her and it took even longer for her to realize he wasn't.
Jason's voice brought Kanya back to reality. "Ya, I'm not one for trendy hotels or fancy stuff but this place looks pretty decent"
"Which hotel is it?" she asked.
"The Landing"
Kanya turned in her seat to stare at Jason, her mouth slightly open. She studied the touseled look of his hair and the slight remnants of a stain left on his shirt and she wondered about him. It took her a minute to recollect her thoughts and speak
"How odd, thats where I'm staying too!"
Jason smirked at Kanya and replied "Well that should make things interesting then..."
