This choice: Jessica reaches Paris  •  Go Back...
Chapter #7

In the park

    by: Unknown
The sun was peaking through the trees behind Jessica's bench.
The sky was almost cloudless. The sounds present were a mix of traffic noise, distant conversations, children, birds, dogs and a street musician playing his guitar only 20 meters away from her. Jessica had lifted her head to breathe in the fresh winter morning air and took in the moment.
She exhaled. Her breath was visible in the cold air. She pulled up the collar of her jacket and looked around the park. The Eiffel tower was now a white frosted monument that made it look even more elegant.

Jessica had finally reached Paris yesterday at 5.30PM and had found a small 3 star hotel somewhere in the center to have a good dinner and a good night's sleep.
She had woken up quite early but had at least had a 10 hours sleep.
After a simple french breakfast she had left the hotel to inspect her surroundings.

She grinned. It was strange how she could relax on a bench in Paris like this.
Maybe it was the distance between Paris and the USA that made her feel more at ease. Would Raul be looking for her? She wiggled her nose. It itched a little.
She imagined he would be furious. She had used her creditcard at the hotel to pay for her room. Jessica had been relieved to find it hadn't been rejected...yet.
She hid her hands in her pockets to keep warm and remembered.

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*

*Noteb*
