Central International Airport Kanya knew that time was running faster, she was terrified for the mere thought of what may have become of Justin yet, at the same time she feared what awaited her near destiny outside the exit. She fought her way through broken seats and grave water, trying to find her way to that exit she had helped route the other passengers toward. As she made her way through all the debris she could of sworn she heard a faint voice in the distance whisper her name and then a few cluttered words that she couldn’t quite make out. With all the noise, she couldn’t tell if it was actually real or if it was the confusion between the waves ripping against the side of the plain and people screaming and crying.
Finally! She saw the light! The exit was barely 3 feet in front of her. Her legs ached as she pulled herself toward the exit. The current from the waves helped her make it through the door, just as the ocean swallowed the last little bit of the gap!
Then…all of the sudden, she felt heavy! She new she couldn’t swim but, she had been in water before and never sank! ‘Oh, NO!’, she thought…panicking, ‘The jewels…oh…no..’. She tried to let out a cry as the ocean finally had it’s way and swallowed her in one gulp. She struggled, but could not rise up. She tried to breath but inhaled nothing but liquid. Her lungs burned, her eyes stung. She knew she was dieing but, yet at the same time she began to feel calm and then…everything went black…
