Chapter #4

Kanya is in another dimension

    by: Acme
The fourth dimension wasn't like Kanya imagined - not that she ever had cause to imagine it before, but heck! Time shouldn't be orangey and make 3D items, like her own hand, seem ... gooey? Perhaps this was what 4D shapes looked like?

What little college memory of Physics that Kanya retained, flooded back in the form of quantum theory; the faint orange outline to everything was the speed of atoms. As each universal object contained atoms moving at a different rate (the reason a table didn't run off because its atoms were lazy, and the reason you couldn't see a Hummingbird's wings because they were fast atoms?) She never did get the hang of quantum: she thought cat's should not be put in boxes, and bombarded with radiation, even if Mr Schrodinger was a doctor.

The Munchkin Mayor, from the Wizard of Oz, popped into existence and gave her an ornate flourish of a bow. "There's no place like home!" He grinned and clicked his orange platform boots together and the universe flew back together in the blink of an eye.

Kanya found herself laying flat on her stomach, the cold polished tiles of the airport floor sending icy tremors through her body. That was not as embarrassing as realizing she was desperately gripping the orange thigh-highs of a drag queen in the queue.

You have the following choices:

1. The drag queen gets angry.

*Noteb*
2. Knaya runs for another flight.

*Noteb*
3. Kanya wakes from her dream.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
