Central International Airport
This choice: "Yes, I believe you... my apologies, ma'am..."  •  Go Back...
Chapter #5

Love and Work

    by: Epica
"So you should", Jessica retorted. What the hell was she going to do now? She needed to get this kill, after all she had been through over the past few months, her work had really suffered.

He had gone back to his seat now, and Jessica got to thinking. Only a few months earlier, she was top of her game, the best assassin in the whole team, and everyone knew it. She was flying high when another of life's winners joined the team. She was sensationally beautiful, 5"9 with jet black, glossy hair and the most piercing blue eyes that had the ability to bore into your soul and know exactly what you were feeling. Lucy Diamond captivated Jessica from the very first moment she clapped eyes on her, and there began a whirlwind romance. The two top killers were also the two top lovers, matching each other on every level and Jessica was completely smitten, head over heels in love. For four fabulous months, they worked and played together, and Jess was happier than she could ever remember being.

That was, until she came home from an assignment a day early. She pushed open the door, the roses and champagne meant as a treat for her girl. Well, the bottle turned into the weapon she used on the sickening pig she found with his hands all over Lucy, and the roses were flung at her, as she was thrown out of the door, in just her bra and pants.

After that, Jessica had fallen to pieces, hardly working and putting off speaking to anyone. This was only her second assignment after she had come back. Lucy, of course, was desperate to work with her again - it was all a mistake, she still loved Jessica, if she could only have one more chance, she would prove it. The problem was, Jessica was still mad about Luce and she knew she couldn't resist. Only, now, she was faced with a choice. Jess couldn't do anything now that the plane was taxiing down the runway, it would be too dangerous. She would have to take him out at the other end.

The other marker at the airport in Paris was Lucy, there in case Jessica failed to secure the target before take-off. Jessica had to decide - should she get a message to Lucy, telling her she needed her help in Paris, or should she risk the target getting away, so she wouldn't have to see her again?

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. Tell Lucy she needs her help

2. Take the risk and take on the problem on her own

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
