"Well, you know, it's quite a coincidence being in the same hotel as the person I sat next to on the flight."
Alice, the flight attendant Jason was friendly with, stopped at their row. "Jason, this must be your third trip to Bermuda in the past two months."
For all his height Jason seemed to slid down in his seat a little. "You know getting ready for my sister's wedding." She moved on down the aisle but Kanya noticed a slight smile cross Alice's lips.
Jason straightened up and turned to Kanya. "So Kanya, what takes you to Bermuda."
"The beaches. Getting away from Minneapolis and the cold," and another beating she thought to herself.
"Ladies and gentleman," Alice's voice came over the loudspeaker. "We apologize for the delay. We are waiting for one last passenger to board. We will be taking off as soon as he arrives.
There was a flurry of activity in the front of the cabin. Kanya leaned out into the aisle to see what was happening. Alice was escorting the newly arrived passenger down the aisle toward Kanya.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
