"Surely he's crazy!" she thought. The man grabbed her arm suddenly and pulled her around.
"Please, Miss. Don't make me," he said tightening his grip. Suddenly a hand hit the man on the shoulder.
"What the hell is going on here" asked Jason looking at the struggling and frightful looking Kanya. Kanya pulled away from the mana at last and flung herself into Jason's arms.
"He says I am to die," she whispered into his ear tears of fear rolling down her cheeks.
"What?" Jason asked looking confused. The man sighed.
"You can come too. I'll explain on the way, but right now, we need to get her to the doctor."
