Central International Airport This choice: Jason decides to stay quiet and seek more information • Go Back...Chapter #24Jason's Cousin To The Rescue by: Ram Effect   Jason Abraham waited tensely in the hope of finding a weakness somewhere that he could exploit. He was remembering everything he was taught. It was hard to do nothing, when every instinct in him told him to fight. Abraham was a patient man by nature, and he always looked before he leaped.
Suddenly there was a commotion in the hall. Everybody froze in confusion as a tall, middle-aged man ran in with a gun. At first, Abraham thought he was a security guard in plain clothes. But the man looked very familiar to Jason.
Kanya thought the newcomer looked allot like Jason, except he was skinnier. But the stranger also looked more athletic than Jason. And there was a certain 'military baring' in his posture. Kanya knew how to spot that sort of thing. Kanya could tell just by watching Jason that he'd never been in the military. Though there was a certain discipline about Jason's behavior that probably came from being an aircraft mechanic.
Hardly had Kanya completed these wild thoughts than the newcomer broke the silence.
"Hi, Jason, how're you doin'?" He spoke with the same accent as Jason, a thick Minnesota twang.
"Tom! How'd you get here?" Jason could help asking such a stupid question when he'd found his voice.
"On foot, how else?" Tom had the same sarcastic sense of humor Jason did.
"If you want to know why I'm here, it's a long story. But you wont have to worry about your 'friends' here. Right now your all under arrest! Except you and the lady over there." Tom pointed to Kanya, who was still to befuddled to say anything.
"Well, I'll say this much, Tom," Jason answered, "you sure got perfect timing!"
He turned to Kanya and said, "I know this is a strange time and place for introductions, but this is my cousin, Tom Abraham. He was once in the Air Force, but is now an airline pilot. You can trust him completely."  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
